The Mouse Got a Cap
A mouse was walking on a road. He found a piece of nice cloth. He thought, “Let me have a nice cap of this cloth”.
He went to a tailor. He asked the tailor, “Dear Tailor, Will you please sew a nice cap for me?”
The tailor told the mouse, “Get out! I don’t have any time to sew a cap for a mouse”.
The mouse started singing, “I will call the police. He will beat you. I will enjoy the drama…”
The tailor got afraid and told the mouse, “No. No. Please don’t call the police. I will sew a cap for you”.
The tailor sewed a nice cap for the mouse. Then the mouse thought, “Let me have some nice embroidery work on my cap”.
He went to an embroidery worker. He asked him, “Dear Friend, Will you please do a good embroidery work on my cap?”
The embroidery worker told the mouse, “Get out! Why I should do embroidery for a mouse’s cap?”
The mouse started singing, “I will call the police. He will beat you. I will enjoy the drama…”
The embroidery worker got afraid and told the mouse, “No. No. Please don’t call the police. I will do embroidery for your cap”.
Then the mouse thought, “Let me put some pearls on my cap”.
He went to an artisan. He asked him, “Dear Friend, Will you please put pearls on my cap?”
The artisan told the mouse, “Are you crazy? I don’t have time to put pearls on a mouse’s cap”.
The mouse started singing, “I will call the police. He will beat you. I will enjoy the drama…”
The artisan got afraid and told the mouse, “No. No. Please don’t call the police. I will put pearls on your cap”.
The mouse was dancing and singing with joy.
The king’s convoy was passing from that road. The soldiers asked the mouse to move away from the road.
The mouse refused and said, “Why I should move? My cap is better than king’s cap”.
The king became angry and asked soldiers to take mouse’s cap.
The mouse started singing, “The king is a beggar. The king is a beggar…he took my cap…he took my cap…”
The king said, “Oh! This Mouse! He is telling me a begger. Just give back his cap”.
The mouse started singing, “The king is afraid of me. He gave back my cap…”
