Navodaya 6th class admission 2022 notification released for Class 6, JNVST is conducted every year for the admission to talented candidates from rural areas in class 6th and 9th to the various Navodaya Vidyalaya of the country. JNVST is a national level examination conducted by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti which is affiliated by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Admissions in JNVs are made through the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) to Class VI. At present, 661 Vidyalayas are sanctioned in 28 States and 07 Union Territories, out of which 636 are functioning. A maximum of eighty students are admitted in Class VI in each Vidyalaya through a JNVST Selection Test 2022.

Eligibility Criteria
Following are the eligibility criteria for Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2022:
  • Candidate must be studying in class V for the whole academic session 2022-2023 in a recognized schools or ‘B’ certificate competency course of National Institute of Open Schooling in the same district where admission is sought.
  • The student must not have been born before 01-05-2009 and after 30-04-2013 (both days inclusive).
  • For admission under rural quota, one must have passed classes III, IV and V from a recognized school located in rural area spending one full academic session each year.
  • Only the candidates from the district concerned where the Navodaya Vidyalaya has been opened are eligible to apply for admission.
  • No candidate will be allowed to appear in the selection test for the second time.
JNVST 2022 Application Last Dates
The last date for submission of the Application Form in BEO’s Office is 15th December 2021 (Expected). The written entrance exam will be conducted in the year 2022. For the examination, students need to appear in the examination all the parents or students will need to apply online before 15th December 2021 (Expected). Students’ admission is totally based on the Minimum marks in the written exam. We will update the NVS (JNVST) Exam Date 2022 after official notification in out. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6 Admit Card 2022
The admit card will be made available with effect from December 2021 and March 2022 in respect of phase 1 and phase 2 Class VI JNVST – 2022 respectively on application portal which shall be downloaded free of cost by the candidates/parents before the conduct of JNVST.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6 Result 2022
The admit card for the selection test will be published on the official website of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS).Students will be able to download their admit card registration number and password.
Upon downloading, a printout of the admit card should be taken out and must be carried to the exam center.On the admit card, details of the candidates and the exam and important instructions will be published.The students are advised to keep their admit card safe until they are granted final admission.

Who is eligible for JNVST sixth class applications?
Those born between 01-05-2009 to 30.4.2013 should be studying 5th standard in government and government recognized schools are eligible for JNVST 6th Class application.

Do reservations apply to admissions in the sixth class?
75% of the total seats in the sixth class are reserved for rural area students and the remaining 25% for urban area students. 1/3 of the total seats are reserved for girls. NVS will also allocate seats for OBCs, SCs, STs and the disabled as per Central Government rules.
