 ♦ Organizing 'Book Reader Competition' from offline / online mode for students of Std-9, 8, 9, 9 and 11 of all government schools of the state.
 ♦ In each level of competition children can present themselves in a basic way or even by reading what they have written in the paper.

 • Presentation time: Maximum 10 minutes per child

 'Book Reading' and 'Book Reading Competition' by the students of Std (6, 7, 8, 9 and 11):

 * Book reading from 08/4/207 to 11/4/207 and book reading competition on 16/202

First of all, the class teacher should have the book reviewed by all the children studying in the standard class (class),To decide the first, second and third place winners based on the children's performance


School level:
Standard Dating Competition of Winning Students on Saturday (Offline Online)
In the school level competition, to decide one (1) winner on a standard basis, the decision of the judges, in which,  Competent retired teacher

Cluster Level:
Ta.  12/7/206, Saturday (offline / online) In all the clusters of the state which in all the government schools included in the cluster in the school level competition in Std-9, 8, 9, 8 and 11 in Std.
In standard competition (Std. 6, 7, 8, 9 and 11) one (1) winner in 3 cluster level competition will be at least 6 and maximum 5 winners.

A committee of judges to decide the winner In which, (1) Government Secondary U.M.  School Principal, (2) Award Winning Teacher, (3) Relevant Beat Education Inspector (Education) / Sikharsi Coordinator

Block (BRC) Level:
On Saturday 4/4/207 (offline online)

In all the clusters included in that block, in all the cluster level competitions, for all the children who have become standard winners in Std. 9, 8, 9, 8 and 11.  One (1) winner will be a maximum of 5 winners in this way

To decide the winner Committee of Judges in which, (1) Taluka Primary Education Officer, (2) Diet related Liaison Lecturer, (3) Relevant BRC Coordinator Shri.

District level:
Dated 08/4/207, Saturday (offline / online)
In all the blocks included in that district in taluka level competition for Std-6, 7, 8, 9 and for all the winning children competition from standard wise offline online mode.

* Standard wise (Std. 6, 7, 8, 9 and 11) one (1) winner in district level competition
• In this way maximum five winners will be To decide the winner Committee of Judges including, (1) Librarian of Diet, (2) Diet Lecturer, (3) Award winning teacher, (4) Educational Literary Scholar.

State Level -
Dated 18/4/207, Saturday (offline online In all the districts of the state, in the district level competition, for all the children who have won Std-9, 8, 9, 8 and 11 Std.  The committee of judges is requested to consider the following matters related to the planning of 'Book Reader Competition' as mentioned above.
- 'Rs.100 (school level), Rs.200 (cluster level), Rs.200 (block level), Rs.200 (district level) respectively as an incentive prize to the winners of the book reading competition from school level to state level.  And provision of Rs.500 (state level).
- Unique IDs of the winning students at each level.  The standard information along with the signature of the responsible officer / employee of that level should be collected at the upper level of the level within two (2) days after the completion of the competition and the overall information should be sent to each district / corporation office here.
- The winning students can choose their favorite books from the online bookfair from the incentive prize money.  - 'Online bookfare' will be reported in detail separately.


The contribution of reading in improving study outcomes has been demonstrated in various researches.  Reading is a step towards enabling language and writing skills.  It enhances vocabulary, creativity, critical thinking, imagination and expression, helping children build relationships with those around them and real life situations.  However it needs constant study, development and refinement.  Thus, there is a need to create a competent environment in which, students read for fun and develop their skills through an enjoyable and sustainable process.
