NEET 2020 final answer key is released after the subject experts of NTA do through the challenges received on the provisional key. If the challenges are found to be valid changes are made in the key and a final key is displayed. Based on this final key the result is calculated.

To calculate marks of NEET 2020 from the answer key, candidates need to know the marking scheme and follow the step below:
Step 1 – Download NEET 2020 answer key for your paper code. It is important to download answer key for the correct paper code to get accurate marks.
Step 2 – After downloading the key, candidates need to match answers in it with that marked in the exam.
Step 3 – While checking the answers, candidates need to add 4 marks for each correct and deduct 1 marks for incorrect answer.
Step 4 – Next, the candidates need to get sum of all the correct answers and incorrect answers, separately. Then, deduct sum of incorrect answers with that of the correct answers. The output is score of NEET 2020.

NEET 2020 marking scheme:
1. Each question is of (+) 4 marks.
2. For every incorrect answer (-) 1 mark is deducted.
3. (-) 1 mark is deducted if more than one circle is filled for a question.
4. No marks is added or deducted for unattended questions.

  • 1st step: Click on the direct link provided above on this page.
  • 2nd step: Thereafter, a pdf opens.
  • 3rd step: In that pdf, the NEET 2020 set code is given as “NEET(UG) – 2020 ANSWER KEYS – SET E5”. Look for you paper code.
  • 4th step: Under your paper set, Q.No and Key is given. Q.No is the question number and Key is the answer for the question.
  • 5th step: This is your answer key. Use it to predict score.
How to Raise Objection on Official NEET 2020 Answer Key?
NTA allows the candidates to raise an objection against the answer key. This makes the result preparation process more transparent and reliable. The candidates can check below the steps to raise objection on NEET 2020 Answer Key.
  • 1st step: Go to the login page of NEET 2020.
  • 2nd step: Enter the login details and on your dashboard click the ‘Apply for key challenge’.
  • 3rd step: Select the questions that you want to challenge
  • 4th step: The number next to the question under the column ‘Answer as per NTA’ stands for the correct Answer Key as per the NTA. Once you select any question for Challenge, you can see four options under the column ‘Suggested Answer(s) by the Candidate’.
  • 5th step: If you wish to challenge, you may use any one or more of the Option IDs given in the next four columns by clicking the checkbox.
  • 6rh step: After clicking the desired option for all questions you want to challenge, scroll down and click on ‘Submit’ button. In the next screen, you can see the questions that you have marked for challenges.
  • 7th step: Click on ‘Final Submit’.
  • 8th step: Pay the processing fee by clicking on the ‘Go for Payment’ option. Select the mode of payment and pay your processing fee of Rs. 1,000/- for each question. Make payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking.
  • 9th step: After successful payment, download the key challenge receipt and take a print out for future reference.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the only national level entrance exam for UG medical admission in India. Via it, 100% seats are filled in MBBS, BDS, BUMS, BHMS, BAMS courses. This year onwards, AIIMS and JIPMER shall also accept admission on the basis of NEET scores.
