Navodaya Vidyalaya 9th Class Admission Form 2022-23 : Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas – Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has released the application form for JNV 2021 for Class 9th at nvsadmissionclassnine.in. Last date to submission of application form till October 31, 2021. The Selection Test for admission to class IX in JNVs for the academic session 2022-23 will be held on March 09, 2022. The medium of the test is English and Hindi. Admission is through an All India Test in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, district concerned. While education in the schools is free including board & lodging, uniform and textbooks, a sum of Rs. 600/- per month is collected from the students of Classes IX to XII only towards Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi. Students belonging to SC/ST categories, Girl students, and the students whose family income is below the poverty line (BPL) are exempted. Rs.1500/- per student per month is collected from all students whose parents are Govt. Employees. JNV Lateral Entry Application Form 2022 for Class IX
The Prospectus-cum-Application form containing detailed instructions can be download from the link which is provided below. Online applications may be submitted from September 13, 2021. The candidate may refer to NVS Hqrs. Website www.nvsadmissionclassnine.in or website of JNVs. The last date to apply for the Class-IX Lateral Entry test is till October 31, 2021.

JNV Lateral Entry Admit Card 2022 for Class IX
Admit Card for appearing at the Selection Test will be release for the candidates. If the candidates do not get the Admit Card, he/she must contact the office of the Principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya for obtaining the Admit Card. Eligibility Criteria for JNV Lateral Entry Test 2022 for Class IX
  • Candidates need to fulfill the given criteria to be eligibile for JNV Lateral Entry Test 2022 for class IX.
  • Only those candidates who are studying Class VIII during the Academic Session 2020-21 in one of the Govt./Govt. recognized schools of the district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is functioning and where admission is sought, are eligible
  • Candidate appearing for the admission test must qualify/ pass Class VIII in the academic session 2020-21 from a Govt./Govt. recognized school in the district where he/she is seeking admission.
  • A candidate seeking admission must be born between 01.05.2006 and 30.04.2010 (both days inclusive). This is applicable to all categories of candidates including those who belong to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribe
  • Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti reserves the right to refer any candidate to a MEDICAL BOARD for confirmation of the age of the candidate, in case any doubt arises about the age on the basis of certificate produced by the candidate before confirmation of admission

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya commences admission process for class 9. The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) has invited applications for admissions to class 9. The online application process has started, and the candidates can apply online at https://www.nvsadmissionclassnine.in.
Interested applicants can apply at the official website, nvsadmissionclassnine.in. To be eligible for the admission, candidates will have to appear for Jawahar Navodya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST).

Nature of the Entrance Test:
The test will be objective/descriptive type with 02 1/2 hours duration without any break. Centre for the examination will be Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya of the concerned district.

Navodaya 9th Class Entrance Exam Pattern: The selection test will be of two-hour duration and will have three sections. There will be 80 multiple-choice questions, together constituting of 100 marks.

JNV Lateral Entry Selection Procedure 2025
  • Selection in the selection test will not vest any right upon the candidate to secure admission into JNV till the candidate produces all the relevant certificates such as birth certificate, pass certificate of VIII class with mark sheets, SC/ST certificate, if any, as prescribed by NVS for the admission.
  • Details of the marks obtained in the test will not be communicated and there is no provision for re-checking/re-totaling.
  • Candidates will be considered for the admission only into that Vidyalaya for which he/she has appeared for Selection Test.
  • At the time of admission, candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SCs) Scheduled Tribes (STs) & Other Backward Classes (OBCs) categories will have to produce the required Scheduled Caste/Tribe or OBC Certificate issued by the competent authority.
  • In case of any dispute, the decision of NVS will be final and binding on the candidates.

What is exam pattern for 9th Class JNVST?
Selection Test will consist of questions from the subjects of Mathematics, General Science, English and Hindi. Difficulty level of the test paper shall be of Class 8th. Questions from English and Hindi sections will carry 15 marks each and Maths and Science will carry 35 marks each, making a total of 100 marks.
