Eligibility Criteria: IOB Apprentice Opportunity 2025
- Nationality: Candidate must be a Citizen of India.
- Location Preference: Application allowed for only ONE State/UT, preferably home state/UT.
Educational Qualification: IOB Apprentice 2025
- Minimum Qualification: A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by Govt. of India (or equivalent).
- For NATS candidates: Graduation result declared between 01.04.2021 and 01.08.2025, with provisional/degree certificate available when required.
Age Limit: IOB Apprenticeship 2025
- For General/EWS: Minimum 20 years and Maximum 28 years as on 01.08.2025 (Date of Birth between 01.08.1997 and 01.08.2005)
- Relaxation in Maximum Age:
- SC/ST: +5 years
- OBC (NCL): +3 years
- PwBD: +10 years
- Widows/divorced/legally separated (not remarried): Up to 35 years (GEN/EWS), 38 years (OBC), 40 years (SC/ST)
- For NAPS Candidates: Must be less than 34 years on 01.08.2025

Selection Process: IOB Apprentice 2025
- Online Written Test (Objective, 100 Marks)
- General/Financial Awareness: 25 Qs/25 marks
- General English: 25 Qs/25 marks
- Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude: 25 Qs/25 marks
- Computer/Subject Knowledge: 25 Qs/25 marks
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Minimum aggregate percentage as decided by the bank; 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD
- No individual subject cut-off
- Seniority by age in case of a tie
Test of Local Language
Candidate applying for training seats of a particular state, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in any one of the local languages of the state (to be specified at the time of calling the applications). The test of local language will be conducted after qualifying the online written examination. The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as part of selection process. It will be conducted during the process of document verification. Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be engaged for apprenticeship. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test.

- NATS candidates login and apply under Indian Overseas Bank on NATS portal; NAPS candidates search “Indian Overseas Bank” under “Establishment Name” and apply via NAPS.
